The Tea Tree Gully Poetry Festival is a biennial festival celebrating poetry as a modern artistic outlet, enabling access to an often misunderstood form of expression.
In 2019 the Tea Tree Gully Poetry Festival officially opens Friday 18 October at a special launch event hosted at The Gully Public House and Garden (formerly the Tea Tree Gully Hotel) from 7.30pm. This exciting evening will feature poetry recitals from well known local poets, an open mic, raffle, door prizes and more. An event for anyone who loves to read or hear a cheeky verse!

The Festival officially closes on Wednesday 20 November, 5-7pm at Cafe Paradiso where the festival committee provides a festival overview, and we present prizes to the poetry competition winners.
Hosted by the North Eastern Writers and supported by the City of Tea Tree Gully Library, the Tea Tree Gully Poetry Festival brings poetry to the people.
